At Kingsway Dental Specialist Practice we are obviously taking every precaution to avoid cross contamination in our treatment room. We have reviewed all aspects of our working practices, and have made the appropriate changes to our ways of working to minimise risk to clients and staff.
Our treatment room benefits from the following virus-combating measures:
- High volume air extraction – our rooms have 28 total air changes per hour
- Virus killing air purifying unit – removing and killing airborne viruses
- High vacuum aerosol scavenging unit with virus killer and filter
- Hypochlorous acid fogging unit – kills airborne and surface viruses in less than two minutes – the final element in obliterating all viruses.
Essentially these comprise all of the effective methods of greatly reducing the risk of transmission, and we use every one. Infection control isn’t a new thing at Kingsway Dental Specialist Practice, and we are delighted to offer this advanced system as part of our standard environment.
